55 COVID Cases Reported at Corbin Christian Health Center

The Knox County Health Department announced Friday that 55 people – 47 residents and eight staff – at the Christian Health Center in Corbin tested positive for COVID-19.

All the cases are asymptomatic so far, and officials say all family, residents and staff were notified immediately.
The health department is now coordinating closely with the Kentucky Department of Public Health and the facility. A team of epidemiologists are working to help the facility with its practices moving forward.
