Food City Donates To Hurricane Victims
In Floyd County Food City has always been a valuable community partner. Hosting fundraisers for many local charities. Now, they are partnering with their customers to help hurricane victims in the Carolinas. Prestonsburg Food City Manager, Adam Baldridge says it is always a privilege to be able to be of service to those in need but they could not do it without the giving hearts of their customers. He says “We are just asking all of our customers who come in to just round their groceries up a few cents just to help out. If you have a $20.50 order maybe round it up to the next dollar. there’s no amount too big and no amount too small.” The fundraiser will continue through the end of the month. All proceeds will go to The Salvation Army and Samaritan’s Purse organizations.
