KY Airports Get Upgrades
Two airports in Louisville are getting $24.4 million in federal grants to make infrastructure improvements.A statement from the Louisville Airport Authority says $23.3 million will go toward upgrades at Louisville International Airport and $1.1 million will go to improve Bowman Field.Some of the projects planned at Louisville International Airport include drainage improvements, installation of airfield guidance signs and repairing taxiway and runway pavement. Similar improvements are planned at Bowman Field.
