Fundraiser To Help Deputy

A Scott County deputy was paralyzed after getting shot while on duty. After multiple surgeries and nearly a week in the hospital, Deputy Jamie Morales is 90 percent paralyzed.Raising Cane’s in Georgetown is partnering with the community for a fundraiser to help Morales during his time of need. The all-day fundraiser is happening today until 10 p.m. The store will donate 20 percent of sales of those who mention the fundraiser. The store also will accept additional donations for Morales.
