Johnson County Job Fair

Twenty-three employers from around the region were looking for prospective employees Wednesday in Johnson County.The Big Sandy Community and Action Program, EKCEP, The Kentucky Career Center and the City of Paintsville hosted the U.S. 23 Mega Job Fair at the US 23 Country Music Highway Museum.Within the first half hour, dozens of people were connected with potentially well-paying jobs and careers.The Big Sandy Community Action Progam’s Workforce Development Director, Erica Ash, says that is why job fairs are so important. She says Eastern Kentucky has a wonderful work ethic. And our workers here are second to none.
