Better Internet Access In Eastern KY
More than $20 million is coming to Eastern Kentucky to improve internet access. The USDA is partnering with Thacker-Grigsby Telephone Company in Knott County to improve broadband. A report earlier this year suggests 80 percent of the 24 million American households that lack high-speed internet are in rural areas. The project will serve approximately 30,000 customers.
