Be A Santa To A Senior

Often overlooked during the holidays, senior citizens aren’t immune to the Christmas blues, but there’s a local program that gives you the opportunity to play Santa. Meg Musgrave of Home Instead Senior Care says you can enter the Be A Santa to a Senior program, put on by Home Instead Senior Care. In Lexington, there are about 300 seniors that are on the tree this year with simple needs like blankets, puzzles, toiletries, and small gifts. Just visit the tree on Reynold’s Road in Lexington and pick your senior. You will need to buy the gifts and have them wrapped and brought to Home Instead by December 3rd.
