Light Up A Cross For Christmas

Hundreds of people in our region are stepping up to meet a challenge.The “Light Up A Cross For Christmas” challenge started in December and since has more than 200 participants.Starting with some wood and a nail, many say the challenge is taking them back to their roots.”Everyone has accepted this challenge really well. So we just want to lift up Christ at Christmas,” said Linda Webb.Webb is a member of “Women Serving Christ” in Martin County. She says she is pleasantly surprised by the community’s support.The challenge is simple: Put up a cross and use decorative lights to let it shine during the night.
