Local Family Treated By Baking Memories 4 Kids

Baking Memories 4 Kids, the Knox County Sheriff’s office, and the Richland Fire Department surprised Kail Campbell Wednesday night with news that he is going to Disney World. Campbell was diagnosed early in the year with Type 1 diabetes and complications with high blood sugars and ketoacidosis, which landed him in the hospital.He said he was pleasantly surprised to see all the police cars and hear the sirens from the fire truck when they came to the house on Wednesday evening.Baking Memories 4 Kids is an organization founded by cancer survivor Frank Squeo, that uses cookie sales to send kids with serious health issues and their families to Florida.
