Christmas is right around the corner and many are gearing up looking for that one last present to make someone’s Christmas bright.One gift idea that may seem like a really good idea but it is not is getting a pet as a present.”We have a lot of pets returned that were gifts in January,” said Tammy Noble the chair of the Kentucky Regional Animal Shelter board.While adopting pets is important to shelter directors, they want you to make sure the person you are getting it for can take care of it and knows the difficulty of raising a pet.
