Breathitt County Author Bringing Play to Jackson

Breathitt County’s own author, filmmaker and playwright, Jerry ‘Bucky’ Deaton will be bringing his most recent production to Jackson in the near future. “Long Ago and Far Away”, comprised of four one-act plays, written and produced by Deaton, has already been performed at the Grande Theatre in downtown Frankfort, as well as in Shelbyville, and has received raving reviews. Now “Long Ago and Far Away” is being presented here in Jackson. Further details of the production will be coming up but for now save the date, Sat., Jan. 19.
