Travel, Weather Records Could Fall Over Holiday Weekend

A pair of records are set to be broken this weekend

AAA is projecting this long holiday weekend to be one of the busiest travel holiday weekends on record, with more than 37 million people nationally expecting to take a trip of 35 miles or more away from home.

At the same time, the mercury is once again expected to stay well into the 80s, pushing 90s in some spots at times, putting some all-time record highs for this weekend in jeopardy.
