Hazard Middle School Averted Violance on Thursday
Three students were detained after a school threat involving weapons Thursday.
Hazard Middle School sent home a letter to parents. In the letter it states, “once the incident was reported at the school, proper steps and protocol were followed.” They also asked parents to contact them if they became aware of any threats to the school, the students and the staff.
