Group Aims to Help Homeowners Keep Heating Bills Down

A group called the Appalachia Heat squad is going around the region to try and help keep people’s heating bills down.

The group is part of the Housing Development Alliance.

Executive Director Scott McReynolds told WYMT-TV that while the common thought is that to keep heating bills down, homeowners need to spend thousands on new windows and doors…sometimes, it can be as simple and cheap as a few rolls of ceiling insulation.
