Man Arrested After Police Chase Through Laurel, Whitley Counties

A Michigan man is in jail after a two-county police chase along I-75 that went through Laurel and Whitley Counties.

The chase started early Friday on the southbound side of I-75 near mile marker 34. Police pulled over 21-year old Kenaree Estes for speeding and smelled marijuana when the window was rolled down.

That’s when Estes allegedly took off, eventually hitting speeds of more than 100 miles per hour. He was arrested when he got off in Corbin and was stopped at 5th Street and Scuffletown Road.
