Appalachian Regional Commission Grants Helps Campton

Congressman Andy Barr (KY-06) joined Campton city officials to announce the awarding of a $635,367 Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) grant to replace the city’s failing water storage tank.This grant will alleviate the water quality concerns caused by rust and structural deficiencies for customers in Wolfe County by replacing the 100,000 gallon water storage tank with a new, elevated 200,000 gallon water storage tank.“The Campton Tank Replacement Project will provide Wolfe County residents with a safe and reliable source of water,” says Congressman Barr.
