Appalachian Wildlife Center Being Built

Construction of the 80,000 square-foot visitor’s center building at the Appalachian Wildlife Center in Bell County has begun.The site was purchased almost three years ago, and the building is expected to take 18 to 20 months to complete.The center will contain two museums, a theatre and a 300 seat restaurant and other ammenities. Organizers say the opening day should be in June of 2021.
