Belle Of Louisville Wins Steamboat Competition

The 56th annual Great Steamboat Race has a winner! The Belle of Louisville reigns victorious this year after beating out the Belle of Cincinnati.Wednesday’s 14-mile race on the Ohio River isn’t just a race to the finish line. How do you win? The winner has to rack up the most points from doing a series of five tasks throughout the day, both on-shore and on the boat. Things like a knot tying contest and paddle wheel assembly. A pretty unique trophy was the prize, 12-point silver antlers.
