Bevin, Beshear Make One Final Campaign Push

As VP Mike Pence made his way into eastern Kentucky yesterday to stump for Gov Matt Bevin, the Governor began his Friday morning with a rally in Somerset.

A number of state Republicans joined Bevin on stage at Somerset Hardwood. Congressman Hal Rogers called the local industry a “success story and the kind of business” Bevin is trying to bring more of to the state.

Attorney General Andy Beshear was also on the road making one final campaign push in the last weekend before the election. His group started the day in Maysville before heading to Newport, Covington and Lexington, then criss-crossing the state from Eastern to Western Kentucky today and tomorrow, respectively.

Election Day is on Tuesday. The polls open at 6 a.m. and will close at 6 p.m.

Polls for the race have been few and far between; the last survey done was a Mason-Dixon poll from October 16th showing a tie between Beshear and Bevin.
