Blackjewel Miners Getting Financial Help

Harlan County Judge Executive Dan Mosley is inviting all Blackjewel miners who’s paychekcs recently bounced to the Harlan County Courthouse today at 2:30 p.m.”In a perfect world we’d all wake up in the morning and the money would be in everybody’s bank accounts, and everybody would go back to work. That’s certainly what I wish would happen, but if it doesn’t we’ll help the miners get the help that they need,” said Harlan County Judge Executive Dan Mosley.He will be handing out official letters for each miner to give to their creditors. Each miner can take as many copies as needed. The letter will tell creditors about the situation and ask that they extend or modify payments for 30 days. It will also ask creditors to wave fines. Creditors might not extend payment dates but it will give them a valid reason to consider doing so.
