Bluegrass Care Navigators Give Hope For Christmas
Bluegrass Care Navigators put on its annual Holiday Hope to help ease the pain of losing a loved one. The event gives tips on how to grieve during the holidays and offers a memorial service at the same time. “When we think of the holidays we think of happy times and spending time with family but it is not always a happy occasion for families, especially when they’ve lost a loved one. Particularly, that first holiday, Christmas or Thanksgiving,” said Regional Counseling Supervisor Pam Dixon.The event was held Tuesday night at Bluegrass Care Navigators in Hazard. It was also held in Pike and Morgan County earlier this year. Everyone who attends gets an ornament in memory of the person who died.
