Bluegrass Care Navigators Host Special Camp

Volunteers with Bluegrass Care Navigators hosted Camp Hope for the 17th year on Saturday at the Four Star Village.The camp is designed to help kids between the ages of six and 12 who have lost a loved one in the last two years cope with their grief.”When they first arrive they are a little nervous,” Pam Dixon, the counselor supervisor said. “They are reserved, not sure what the day is going to hold.”Organizers say children are not always shown other avenues to express their grief after losing someone they love.
