Breathitt County Audit Results

The AOC’s (Administrative Office of the Courts) Department of Auditing Services conducted a recent three-week audit of the Breathitt County Circuit Clerk’s office. The Kentucky-wide regulatory service gave James Elliott Turner’s office excellent marks.The audit report shows the Breathitt Circuit Clerk’s office received a “clean” and “unmodified” opinion. The audit contained zero recommendations for bookkeeping.The Breathitt Co. Circuit Clerk’s office among the few offices across Kentucky with near-perfect scores. This means our office is being run as a very model of efficiency and completely above-board.
