Breathitt County Jail Museum Needs Help

The Breathitt County History Museum is working to expand its exhibits into the old Breathitt County jail. The jail is registered as a national historic building.As of now, the jailhouse is still in need of new flooring and a sprinkler system before the exhibits can be moved in.With the community very willing to donate their memorabilia, the Museum’s storage unit is filled with unseen artifacts.The museum board is now relying on grants from businesses and the public’s help to finish the project and expand the museum.
