Bronze Medal Awarded To Local Man
The U.S. Army awarded a Bronze Star Medal to WWII Private First Class Homer L. Davis.Davis is a Morehead native and was honored for his performace of duty during armored combat on March 6, 1945, while serving with Company E, 32d Armored Regiment in Cologne, Germany.Davis’ family was presented with the Bronze Star Medal with “V” device during a ceremony Wednesday at the WWII Memorial on the National Mall.
