Car Seat Safety Check In Frankfort

Kentucky State Police will host a free car seat safety check event next week.The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 28 at the KSP headquarters location in Frankfort.Troopers, who will be performing the car seat safety checks, have completed a training course and are certified by Safe Kids Worldwide.“Three out of four car seats are not used or installed properly,” says KSP Captain Chad Mills. “Parents and grandparents often struggle with car seat installation, so this is a great opportunity to have a trained expert assist them.”
