Caring Corrections Program In Woodford County

The Woodford County Detention Center collected toys for inmates to pick out gifts for their children. Donations are given by families, the community and other organizations. It is part of the jail’s “Caring Corrections” program.”I wasn’t going to be physically there for them so being able to do this, was being able to be at home for a little bit,” said Michele Rankin, a Woodford County Jailer. Toys left over will be given to families and children who have lost loved ones to overdose.
