Christmas Decorations Given In Johnson County

Saturday, more than 1,000 bags of Christmas decorations were given out to those in Johnson County. Paintsville City Tourism partnered with a local businessman to decorate the streets and homes in Johnson County. Bruce Ritz donated the bags full of Christmas decorations like bows, Christmas cards, and gift bags. Folks filed into the Sipp Theatre in Downtown Paintsville. Ritz says he wanted to make sure everyone can decorate for the holiday season. “I think what we need to do is make Johnson County, not just the city but the whole county, let the people come in and get this stuff and decorate the whole county up,” explains Ritz. Next year, he says he hopes to make the drive even bigger.
