Clearing Out A Mudslide In KY
As of late Monday afternoon, crews were still working to clear a mudslide on KY 194. The large mudslide was between mile point 5 and 6 in Floyd County, between the bottom of the hill and the old Crider’s store. Transportation officials said the Allen Maintenance crew was on site to remove the mud and debris, but also said it could take a while to clear the road because the slide is still moving from up above.
