COVID-19 Update
Governor Beshear said Kentucky has 273 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus, the highest single-day increase yet. The state now has 2,960 total cases.There have been 4 new deaths, bringing the total to 148 deaths. 1,122 Kentuckians have recovered.Gov. Beshear also encouraged people to sign up for testing at four recently announced new drive-through testing sites.One site will be in Somerset and one in Pikeville. The testing begins later this week. Meanwhile, there are 13 new cases of COVID-19 in Jackson County.The Cumberland Valley District Health Department confirmed the cases in a facebook post.
