COVID Vaccines Arrive In Eastern KY

The COVID vaccinations have begun in Eastern Kentucky.Following the Tuesday morning delivery of the first 975 doses of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine to Pikeville Medical Center, the hospital began vaccinating frontline medical workers within hours.
Five employees were vaccinated in a public ceremony to demonstrate the safety of the shot.Medical director Dr. John Fleming spoke about the honor of being among the first to receive it.[soundbite]The remainder of the vaccine will be administered this morning.
