Deadly Crash In Eastern KY

A deadly crash closed both directions of KY 213 in Powell County Wednesday afternoon.The crash happened between mile markers 8 and 9, at the Boone Creek intersection. Media reports indicate the sheriff’s office says a 10-year-old girl died in the crash. A six-year-old was taken to UK Hospital with serious injuries.Officials said rain from the past few days pushed gravel onto the road, which made it hard to stop the car. That is when the car collided with a truck.
