Debt Relief For College Students
West Virginia has joined dozens of other states to help relieve nearly $494 million in student loan debt for people who attended Career Education Corp. (CEC) schools.West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey made the announcement Thursday. The legal agreement will help 179,529 students across the country.“This settlement will provide debt relief to West Virginia students who were victims of deceptive business practices,” Morrisey said in a news release. KY is also part of the debt relief.
