Now in its 32nd year, the East Kentucky Leadership Conference is continuing its work of inspiring the next generation of leaders.One of the ways it is doing that is by honoring the men and women who are currently making this region a better place, all while making people proud to be from the mountains.The theme of the East Kentucky Leadership Conference this year is getting ahead of the curve: growing a 21st-century economy.Leaders at the event say the goal is to make people proud to be from Eastern Kentucky.
