An Eastern Kentucky pastor has been elected president of the Kentucky Baptist Convention.Kentucky Today reports, as president of the Kentucky Baptist Convention, Pastor Tom Searcy of Allen Baptist Church near Prestonsburg will use the voluntary unpaid position as a pulpit to call Kentucky Baptists back to humility.Searcy has a wide range of ministry experience including international missions and Christian higher education.
