Eastern KY Weather Impacting Traffic

Many local law enforcement and fire department officials throughout Eastern Kentucky have been posting on Facebook the numerous crashes they’ve responded to over the weekend and heading into the new week with more frigid temperatures and icy conditions to come. Officials are urging drivers to use caution when driving especially on roads that appear to be clear and to also stay home when possible until the weather clears. In addition Johnson County Judge-Executive Mark McKenzie has issued a State of Emergency.Per the order, all county roads are closed to non-essential traffic until roads are clear.
