Emergency Plane Landing Turns Out OK

Lexington firefighters responded to reports of an emergency plan landing not far from Blue Grass Airport Saturday afternoon. Tiffany Hart, an official from Blue Grass Airport, said the event happened just before four Saturday afternoon. Hart says the Bonanza plane’s engine began having troubles and failed. She said the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing at Calumet Farm, which is not far from the airport. Police say two people were on board and did not complain of any injuries.
