False Water Rescue Call Draws Response from Laurel Co. Rescue Squad

What crews thought was going to be a rescue situation in London yesterday morning turned out to be far less serious.

Crews were called for a water rescue on Court Road after people reported seeing a red Acura stuck in high water. When officials got on the scene, they found the car had been abandoned.

Officials with the Laurel Co. Rescue Squad say it appeared the driver tried to navigate through high-standing water, got stuck, and left the car behind.
