Federal Flood Assistance

Gov. Beshear’s senior advisor Rocky Adkins announced that the Beshear administration will be asking the Biden administration for a Federal Emergency Declaration for both the recent flooding and the ice storms that preceded it. Adkins also said the governor’s office will be seeking individual assistance from the federal government.“We’ve had more reports of home damage than in flooding episode that we have on record. It was that bad,” said Beshear.
