Flag Drop-off In Martin County Courthouse

On President’s Day employees with the Martin County Courthouse celebrated in a special way. A new United States flag drop-off box is set up inside. The Disabled American Veterans Chapter 141 from Belfry attended the unveiling. 20+ year Veteran and Chapter Commander Raymond Brown says retiring a flag is just as important as displaying it.”I think it’s great that we have a box like this in our area that we can dispose of the flag so that they will be taken care of properly. There’s nothing worse than just taking your flag and just rolling it up and throwing it into the trash can,” explained Commander Brown.
