Flood Related Problems

As rain pours down on the mountains, high water is making multiple roads impassable. In In Breathitt County, Smith Branch Road off of Southfork Road is flooded. Officials remind everyone driving not to drown and turn around meaning never try to drive through standing water. Plus, a major rockslide this morning has damaged a business. Officials with the Pikeville Police Department say the slide hit Road Tested Wrecker Service on South Mayo Trail. A Road Tested representative tells media outlets that rocks fell onto several cars and damaged the building. The slide is also tying up traffic on South Mayo Trail.
