Floyd County Schools Employees Receive Raise

Floyd County Schools employees returned to work this week with renewed minds and a one percent pay increase.Floyd County Schools Superintendent Danny Adkins said the one percent may not be much, but even the small effort came with a nearly $600,000 price tag.”One of the ways you let folks know you appreciate them is through their paycheck,” Adkins said. “It’s worth it that we can do that for our employees.”He said the district is constantly working to honor its employees.
