God’s Appalachian Partnership in Prestonsburg has become an agency with staying power. They have been providing for the people of Appalachia since 1999.John Morris, who has been the director since 2013, said the consistency has been good for the region.GAP serves more than 250 families, Morris said. It is income- and need-based. Since the middle of March when COVID issues started, GAP has been using a drive-thru system for its clients, Morris said.GAP offers perishable and nonperishable items to the clients. They can also choose from personal hygiene and cleaning products.
