Getting The National Motto Back In Schools
A recent law passed through the General Assembly, requiring all schools in the state of Kentucky to display the national motto, “In God We Trust” somewhere prominent on campus.Superintendent Danny Adkins says the Floyd County School District will be in compliance by the start of the fall semester.”We have our signage ordered. It will be placed right near the front office,” said Adkins.He said the signs will include the state seal, the Floyd County Schools logo and a list of the members of the board of education.
