Grants Available For Public Safety Programs

The Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet is taking applications for grants for justice and public safety programs.The Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grants are funded through a Justice Department appropriation, the cabinet said in a news release. The grants can be used for programs such as enforcement, prosecution, corrections, treatment, prevention and education.The total available hasn’t been announced.
