Hazard Church Provides Thanksgiving Meals

More than 100 families in Perry County are now able to have a Thanksgiving meal with loved ones this week.New Hope Church in Hazard gives away between 80 and 100 food boxes every week. Tuesday afternoon, they also gave away vouchers to people in the community so they could go pick up a ham or a turkey from Save-a-Lot.Cars lined up all the way around the church were filled with families hoping to pick up their items for Thanksgiving.All of the food and vouchers are donated by the community.
