Hazard Pavilion Open To Veterans

Mayor Happy Mobelini officially announced on Veterans Day that all veterans now have free access to use the Hazard Pavilion.The Hazard Pavilion features an Olympic-size swimming pool, tennis, court, walking track and more.Mobelini said it is the least the city could do for veterans.”For the veterans that do everything for us, the reason that we’re having school today, the reason we’re able to vote, the reason we’re able to go to ballgames is because someone fought for our freedom. I think that’s the least the city of Hazard could do is let veterans in free at The Pavilion,” said Mobelini.The Hazard Pavilion is open daily until 9 p.m.
