Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing In Eastern KY

First responders were called to Wendell Ford Airport in Perry County early Thursday morning after a medical helicopter asked to make an emergency landing.The pilot reported engine problems just before one a.m.Crews were on standby for a possible hard landing, however, the helicopter landed safely.No injuries were reported.It is unclear if a patient was on board at the time. It’s also unknown what caused the engine problems, forcing the helicopter to land.
