Helping Blackjewel Miners

Harlan County Fiscal Court employees said in order for Blackjewel miners to be able to claim their wages, they each have to submit a 410 form and submit it to the bankruptcy court.The miners have to fill out the forms to say that they were owed wages.Officials said the miners are eligible for those wages since they earned the money within 180 days before the bankruptcy petition was filed.Harlan County officials also said the miners can also include contributions to their employee benefit plan, like retirement or an HSA.
