All proceeds from Panda Garden in Harlan on Wednesday will go to support Blackjewel employees.The Blackjewel coal miners are still awaiting their paychecks. As of Friday, employees have missed two pay periods.The effects of the layoff impacted the entire community and locals said it weighs heavily on everyone.That is what drove many people to Panda Garden on Wednesday.Community members said they enjoyed supporting a local business while helping the Blackjewel coal miners.
